The data platform incorporates both data generated by Quest operations as well as data from external partners and the platform manager will drive plans to ensure that the data is structured, standardized, and made available in a way that enables advanced analytics and product development for internal and customer‑facing solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of how data can drive organizational value.

Responsibilities
  • Data strategy and roadmap: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform in partnership with business leaders and technical teams. Prioritize initiatives based on business benefits, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.
  • Product management approach: Apply a product management mindset to data assets, treating them as valuable products with a defined lifecycle. Ensure data products are valuable, discoverable, and reusable for various internal teams.

  • Leverage technical expertise: Guide technical teams, including data engineers and data scientists, on how to deliver data solutions that meet business requirements. Leverage existing technical expertise across the organization rather than acting as the primary technical builder.
  • Drive data literacy and adoption: Promote a data‑driven culture by educating non‑technical stakeholders on the value and capabilities of the data platform. Champion adoption of data products and insights across the organization.
  • Data governance and quality: Collaborate with the data governance and IT security teams to establish and enforce data quality standards, governance practices, metadata management and compliance with regulations.
  • Data Scalability and Analytics Enablement: Drive a scalable strategy for ingesting, standardizing, and governing diverse data sources. Define and deliver semantic information layers that empower advanced analytics, agentic queries, and AI‑driven product use cases.
