Location: Clifton, NJ – On-site Monday–Friday | Remote Saturdays
Schedule: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Compensation: ~$75,000 base (some flexibility based on experience)
Position OverviewSeeking a reliable and highly communicative Night Dispatcher to manage overnight fueling operations for heavy‑duty fleets. This role is critical to ensuring trucks are efficiently routed, monitored, and supported while operating nightly fuel deliveries. Looking for a strong communicator who speaks excellent English, is calm under pressure, and can confidently coordinate drivers, monitor vehicles, and respond to issues in real time.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatch and monitor fuel trucks operating overnight
- Communicate clearly with drivers to manage routes, timing, and issues
- Monitor fueling operations for safety, efficiency, and compliance
- Respond to incidents, delays, or emergencies during overnight shifts
- Maintain accurate logs and operational records
- Coordinate handoff and reporting to day operations team
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Prior dispatch, logistics, fleet, or operations experience preferred
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
- Experience with heavy‑duty fleets, fueling, or transportation is a plus
- Stable overnight schedule with predictable hours
