Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Calling all skilled OB Hospitalists! Here s your chance to join a busy Labor & Delivery team in Clinton Township, Michigan for locum coverage from October 2025 through March 2026. With a competitive pay rate of $250/hour, comprehensive malpractice, and complimentary travel and lodging, this in-house hospitalist role offers rewarding hands-on practice in a supportive hospital setting.

Coverage Period: October 2025 March 2026
Location: Clinton Twp, MI
Pay Rate: $250/hour

Shift & Schedule Details:

• 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts with a designated call room

• Monday to Friday call schedule

• Coverage includes Labor & Delivery and ER admissions

• Total beds: 18 labor & delivery beds

• Average daily patients: 3-4 laboring patients

Practice Environment:

• Team of 6 physicians (OB/GYN generalists, residents)

• Support from RNs and residents, plus CNM coverage on Monday afternoons

• Fully equipped Labor & Delivery unit with OR, onsite lab, and ultrasound

• Epic EMR for documentation

Required Clinical Skills:

• Low and high-risk pregnancy management

• FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)

• OB ultrasound interpretation (Level I & II)

• Amniocentesis

• Routine & complicated deliveries (vaginal, forceps, C-sections, breech, VBACs)

• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

• Gynecology procedures from office to major surgery

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN

• Michigan State License Highly preferred (Providers needing to obtain are considered)

• ACLS & BLS - AHA
