OBJECTIVE
As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. Your responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Park Assistant Managers are the contact between guests and Kids Empire. They ensure guest satisfaction, resolve complaints, and address any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire.
Must interact with families and children of all ages.
- Attending to guests as quickly as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
- Supervising employees to ensure they perform their job duties satisfactorily and achieve production goals.
- Assisting the Park Manager with training, development, and audits.
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
- Auditing schedules and requesting needed approval from the Park Manager.
- Opening and closing the park using keys or a code.
- Communicating any guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
- Operating the check‑in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and submit guest information (address, name, email, phone number) via an iPad.
- Operating the front cash counter for receiving exact bill amounts, managing cash flow, registering transactions daily, and providing exact change.
- Operating billing transactions accurately by verifying the amount displayed on the POS.
- Organizing the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
- Checking snack inventory sufficiency and ordering snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
- Walking the floor regularly to monitor that there are no unsafe hazards and that guests are following park rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Cleaning restrooms and sanitizing all park structures, tables, chairs, playground structures.
- Scheduling and coordinating family events and assisting events to operate efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Stand, walk, bend, twist constantly.
- Frequent bilateral hand movements.
- Good finger dexterity.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
- Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
- Must be able to work in a tight structure and be comfortable with heights.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Work weekends and holidays.
- Able to work with children.
- Operate an iPad.
- Good communication skills, customer service skills, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to make effective decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
