As a caregiver, you will have the unique chance to provide both physical and emotional assistance, forming genuine connections with our clients.

We offer competitive pay starting at $17.00 per hour, flexible 4‑12‑hour shifts, and opportunities for growth and advancement. If you have experience going into client’s homes, we would like to speak with you. Our current client is looking for assistance from 6:30 pm–10:30 pm.

• Use of transfer assistive devices, including but not limited to Hoyer lifts, sit‑to‑stand, gait belts and slide board.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and walking.
• Evaluating changes in client’s health and conferring with other healthcare team members as needed.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping.
• Use and cleaning of devices such as catheters, colostomy bags and oxygen supplies.
• Assessing for changes in condition and communicating immediately to supervisor.
• Developing and implementing meaningful life enrichment activities.
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning.
• Transporting client to doctor’s appointments or shopping.
• Completing all required documents and charting.
• Planning, shopping for and preparing nutritious meals.
• Providing companionship for the client.
• Following all Homestead policies and procedures.

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Experience passing medications.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid Driver License/Insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Travel maximum of 25 miles.
• Weekend availability.
