Warehouse Clerk; Automotive Manufacturing - 2nd shift

Functions

• Checks in material, matching purchase orders to deliveries, and distributing accordingly.
• Read customer orders, shipping orders, etc. to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and or shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all employees and visitors at all times.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Open crates and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed in PLEX.
• Assist production with PLEX recording.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy.
• PLEX champion
• Perform cycle counts.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Wear the proper personal protective equipment to do your job.
• Know the Quality and Environmental policy and their objectives.
• Follows all safety, environment and quality procedures and instructions.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position, Monday thru Friday 3 : 15 p.m.

- 11 : 45 p.m. (2nd shift) unless otherwise noted by management

• High school diploma
• 1 year of experience in warehousing and receiving manufacturing environment
