Shipping and Loader Associate

Summary/Objective

Shipping/Loader Associate performs duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, as well as delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders
• Schedule, move, weigh, stock, receive and pack inbound and/or outbound warehouse products
• Load and unload trucks.
• Bring raw materials to the work center.
• Assist in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
• Ensure correct labeling, packaging and inventory.
• Inspect for damaged products.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Adhere to standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school or equivalent degree and 2 years' experience, required.
• Prior experience as a Professional Mover (appliance, furniture and office equipment), preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to interpret work instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

• Must be able to lift 40 - 80 lbs. without assistance.
• Must be able to stand on feet for the entire duration of work shift.

• The position is in a factory with exposure to noise, smells, and temperate fluctuations.
