Team Lead Registered Nurse - Operating Room - 40 Hours/Week - Day Shift
Eligible for full-time benefits
Shift: 6:30AM to 3:00PM
GENERAL SUMMARYTeam Lead RN - Operating Room coordinates activities of staff in the operating room, and provides oversight for front line staff in collaboration with O.R. leadership. Serves as liaison between surgeon, operating room staff, and management. Acts as resource for questions or issues related to procedures or surgeon preference. Coordinates day-to-day operational needs by setting priorities, planning for and addressing staffing needs, and coordinating work across other teams as needed.
Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members and provides input in employment decisions; performance issues and performance reviews. May serve in various clinical nursing roles (i.e., direct care nurse, charge nurse, etc.).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- BSN Preferred.
- Two to three (2-3) years of relevant acute care nursing experience required.
- A member of AORN organization preferred.
- Actively participates in the O.R. Shared Governance Council or Committee.
- Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse required.
- ACLS preferred.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS) required.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
