School Social Worker, Crisis Counselor
Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate School Social Worker in Clinton Township, MI
, to partner with educators, families, and support teams to help students build resilience, overcome barriers, and thrive in the classroom and beyond.
- Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to high school students, with one day per week serving middle school students.
- Deliver individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to promote student well-being and positive school engagement.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and connect students with appropriate resources.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and develop individualized service plans to support student progress.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Michigan Social Work License (full or limited)
- Valid Michigan School Social Worker (310) Certification
- Experience providing social work services in high school and/or middle school settings preferred
- Competitive Pay:
