Position
Child Care Teacher Assistant - Full time
ResponsibilitiesAssists in executing educational programs and care for children in line with the center's written goals, policies, and philosophies.

Qualifications- Certification in infant, child, and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation within 3 months of hire.
- Certification in infant, child and adult first aid if working more than 20 hours per pay period within 3 months of hire.
- Passes a pre-employment health assessment and every three years thereafter.
- Passes a Department of Human Services Child Abuse and Criminal Records check upon initial employment and every five years thereafter.
- Must be 18 years of age or older or sixteen years of age if working with a Child Care Teacher.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Early childhood education, training or experience preferred.
- Full time staff require ten contact hours of training their first year and six hours every year after the initial year. Part time staff require five contact hours of training their first year and four hours per year after the initial year.
- Must have understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
- Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
