Hematology​/Oncology Physician

Join a well-established practice at a state-of-the-art facility in Clinton, Iowa. This full-time permanent position offers the chance to become part of a dedicated team providing vital hematology and oncology services. The practice is located within the hospital, providing easy access to resources and patient support.

• Provide hematology and medical oncology services, primarily at the Mercy One facility in Clinton, IA, with potential rotations at Genesis Health System in Davenport, IA.
• Allocate 30 minutes for new patient visits and 15 minutes for follow-up appointments.
• Handle an average of 30 patients daily, focusing on adult and geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with a team including four RNs, a MA, a CNA, and a receptionist.
• Utilize hospitalist support for infusion coverage as necessary.
• Engage with onsite Radiation Oncology services as part of collaborative care.
• Assist in preparing for COC (Commission on Cancer) Accreditation initiatives based on identified community health needs.

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology.
• Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• Clean malpractice history is preferred.

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• No ongoing malpractice cases.
