• First Choice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system.

• The CT Technologist reviews the Physician Order and reason for exam, prepares the patient, positions, and performs CT imaging following departmental protocols.
• Works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce diagnostic images in accordance with department protocols.
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images with attention to ALARA techniques.
• Collaborates with unit staff and First Choice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based, patient- and family-centered care.

• Associate’s degree or higher
• 18 months of CT experience
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT CT registration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid State of Iowa permit to practice
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
