Trinity Health is one of the largest Catholic health systems in the country
- First Choice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system.
- The CT Technologist reviews the Physician Order and reason for exam, prepares the patient, positions, and performs CT imaging following departmental protocols.
- Works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce diagnostic images in accordance with department protocols.
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images with attention to ALARA techniques.
- Collaborates with unit staff and First Choice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based, patient- and family-centered care.
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 18 months of CT experience
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT CT registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Valid State of Iowa permit to practice
- Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
