Staff Pharmacist

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Wagner Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and business minded Pharmacist for our retail and long term care pharmacies.

The position available is a full-time staff Pharmacist position working Monday - Friday and every third weekend. Business hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday 10:00am - 12:00pm.

We are in search of candidates who have a desire to provide exceptional customer service and communication to our patients. The successful candidates will be self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire co-workers.

Qualifications include:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Accurate typing and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Current Iowa pharmacist licensure
• Certification to administer vaccinations in the state of Iowa

Working Conditions include:

• Physical requirements:
  
  Repetitive use of hands and fingers.
• May require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 25 pounds).
• Ability to reach down to the floor and up to higher shelves to retrieve medications, and have the manual dexterity to handle small tablets and capsules, and to remove bottle caps.
• Walking and standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary.

Pay will depend on experience and/or qualifications

• Accurately prepare patient prescriptions for dispensing
