Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MD or compact RN license, BLS, and NIHSS certification.
Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting

• Patient population includes both medical-surgical and telemetry cases

• Rotating day and night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00-19:30 and 19:00-7:30)

• Float required to other units as needed

• Every other weekend work required

• First-time travelers are accepted

• Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible to apply, though offered at a lower pay rate
Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license

• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a related setting

• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
