1st Grinder Operator

We are seeking a Grinder Operators to join our team. This position is responsible for weighing, blending, molding, grinding, and processing abrasive materials to meet production specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to safely operate a variety of manufacturing equipment.

Schedule:

6:00am – 2:30pm

• Operate equipment (manual and automated) to machine finished parts to desired sizes
• Measure parts using standard tools to ensure parts meet dimensional specification
• Perform manual assembly operations including gluing/bonding
• Utilize company ERP system to log time and materials of work performed
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation
• Follow written instructions to mark, package and label products.
• Transfer heated products between equipment using supplied PPE.

• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Ability to utilize measuring equipment
• Ability to operate industrial equipment
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a team

• Able to stand and or work for extended periods of time on-site
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Able to tolerate repetitive motion of bending and twisting
• Able to tolerate repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motion
