Production Operator - Clinton, IA

Starting pay: $24.36 + shift differential

Required:

12 hour shifts rotating on Days and Nights.

Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and on occasion different shifts with advance notice as needed.

The ADM corn milling plant in Clinton, IA has openings for production operators. This is an entry‑level position where you will gain knowledge of the facility, general department knowledge, and handle tasks through completion of tasks and look for ways to improve the process and personal performance. Production Operators are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned.

• Previous Manufacturing/industrial Experience Preferred.

• Make adjustments and troubleshoot issues to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain accurate production records
• Basic mechanical skills are required for equipment maintenance and reliability
• Control the process to ensure finished products meet customer specifications
• Perform in‑process quality checks
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and clean equipment/department as needed
• Willing to attend training sessions to improve skills
• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the production process
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment

• Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
• Participate in company planned operations training
• Equipment training may include but not limited to JLG, forklift, non‑DOT truck, reach lift, etc.
• Tools/Equipment Used To Perform Job:
  Computer, SharePoint D‑3 graphics, ADM Weigh, wire cutters, hand tools, hoses, tanks, pumps, manually operated valves.

High School/GED

• Minimum Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
