As a Clinic RN at Mercy One, you will assume responsibility/accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment, and other health care team members.

Schedule- Full time, 40 hours a week
- Monday-Friday 07:00-15:30
- No weekends or holidays
- Responsible for planning, assessing, intervening, co‑coordinating and providing direct patient care by utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Communicates with physicians, ancillary caregivers, patients, and families regarding the patient’s plan of care.
- Performs assessments including physical, psychosocial, nutritional, functional, safety, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
- Reviews various test results and takes appropriate actions.
- Makes nursing decisions regarding patient status and immediate care needs.
- Provides patient and family education and makes referrals to other agencies.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse - Board of Nursing, State of Iowa.
- Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
- Experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to problem solve, use critical thinking, and assess patient conditions.
- Must possess a personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, and vision of Trinity Health.
- Associate degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
