Overview
Assistant Director of Health Services (ADON), RN-Weekend package at Fieldstone of DeWitt, part of the Well Spire community. Fieldstone of DeWitt, located in Clinton County, is a 95,000-square-foot senior living facility on a 14-acre campus, developed through a collaboration between Wesley Life and Genesis Health System. The program emphasizes health and well-being with holistic health programming for mind, body, and spirit.

- Collaborate with the DON for overall nursing leadership within Long-Term Care, Skilled and Memory-Care areas
- Orientate, train, and provide ongoing training and supervision to employees
- Assist in the evaluation of the health care services needed for each resident
- Serve as the liaison for staff shift transitions
- Plan, develop and oversee staffing schedules
- Schedule and conduct in-services meetings for staff
- Prepare and participate in surveys and inspections by authorized government agencies
- Partner with the DON for nursing operation efficiencies
- Oversee infection control program and reporting
- Communicate with physicians, family members, etc. regarding resident status as appropriate
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Audit skills of nursing staff
Work three 12-hour shifts every week — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, followed by Saturday, Sunday, and Monday the next week.
Qualifications- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Iowa, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting
- Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations, quality assurance, compliance, and clinical practices
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills to develop/supervise nursing personnel in a team environment
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and skilled in effective delegation
