Quality Technician I

Pay: $23.00/hour

Hours:

6:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Weekend Day Shift; approximately 24 hours/week)

Location:

1300 Clifford Ball Dr. Clinton, PA 15026

Overview

The Quality Technician I supports manufacturing operations by performing inspection and testing activities to ensure product quality throughout the production process. This is a fully onsite, short-term role with potential for extension or conversion, ideal for candidates with inspection or documentation experience, including recent graduates who can commit to weekend shifts.

Job Description
  • Follow established statistical sampling plans to assess product quality during manufacturing
  • Perform physical testing of components, including dimensional checks, weight verification, and visual inspection
  • Accurately document inspection results on batch records and quality documents
  • Investigate, document, and report discrepancies or nonconformances
  • Sample incoming raw material chemicals and components
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, finished goods, and outgoing quality inspections
  • Make disposition decisions for inspected components and products
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely through written documentation
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards
Required Skills
  • Inspection and documentation experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar programs preferred)
    Ability to follow procedures and statistical sampling plans
Education Requirements
  • SPM or equivalent education (required)
  • Open to new graduates or college students with relevant inspection or documentation exposure
