• Railcar Repair – Uses current repair procedures to conduct inspections, ensuring tank cars comply and performing necessary repairs.
• Customer Support – Meets expectations and requirements of all customers, ensuring satisfaction of work delivered.
• Clerical – Ensures invoicing, inspection, and work order information is complete.
• Maintains all certifications, demonstrates familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
• Other work‑related tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability; hand‑tool proficiency (pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets, and equipment for grinding weld slag).
• Basic railcar repair and inspection skills.
• Customer‑relations skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
• Safe work practices and adherence to proper procedures.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Stooping, kneeling, and standing in extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights.
• Working in confined spaces.
• Performing a fit test and wearing a respirator.
• Passing company physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
