Summary

Clinton High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This full-time position requires an individual who is committed to fostering a love of literature and language among students while promoting critical thinking and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, collaboration, and respect.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and faculty regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to contribute to the overall success of the school community.
• Support students in their academic and personal growth, providing guidance and resources as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (PEL)
