Paraprofessional; Teacher Aide

Summary

The Paraprofessional (Teacher Aide) will work full-time at Douglas or Lincoln School, providing support to teachers and students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with others, and have a passion for education.

• Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom activities
• Work with individual students or small groups to provide academic support and guidance
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a positive and safe classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or teacher

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
