The Cardiac Interventional Technologist II performs angiographic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Responsible for patient management prior to, during, and after the procedure.

• Performs and assists with complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, including angiographic, interventional, and ablation procedures, while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality imaging.
• Acts as a first assistant to physicians during catheterization procedures, administering contrast media and managing guide wires and catheters in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Monitors and records hemodynamic data, interprets ECG rhythms, and provides immediate patient care in response to arrhythmias or procedural complications.
• Manages inventory, orders supplies, maintains accurate records in hospital systems (RIS), and ensures infection control and proper equipment operation.
• Handles all phases of patient care—from pre‑procedural education and lab work confirmation to post‑procedural monitoring, discharge, and transport—while supporting departmental goals and emergency response duties.

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology of at least 2 years duration. (Required).
• Radiology Technologist license in the State of Maryland. (Required)

• ARRT—certification or registration (Required)
• ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification or eligibility (Required)
• CPR—Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation within 90 days (Required)

This position has a hiring range of $41.98 - $75.62
