About the TeamThe Global Intelligence & Analytics (GIA) team is part of the Risk & Valuations Services unit within the S&P Global Market Intelligence Division. The team develops powerful business intelligence solutions for global risk, maritime, trade and supply chain analytics, economic indicators and forecasts, and shipping intelligence. It is a fast‑growing, results‑oriented group that helps enterprise organisations make better business decisions.
About the RoleThe role is graded at level 10 and requires extensive knowledge of data, systems, and client engagement. You will partner with the commercial sales organization to showcase GIA solutions, deliver training, and optimize customer use of our products.
Responsibilities and Impact- Develop a comprehensive understanding of prospects’ and customers’ workflows and needs to maximise the benefits of S&P Global solutions.
- Provide tailored demonstrations and training sessions to showcase GIA solutions’ value proposition, driving business development, customer usage, and product awareness.
- Manage escalated customer inquiries and act as the point of contact for complex issues that require in‑depth knowledge of our products and services. Ensure timely resolution while maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Serve as a go‑to resource for team members and clients regarding data‑related inquiries and best practices, gaining comprehensive knowledge of our data offerings, including sources, methodologies, and applications.
- Collaborate with clients to design and develop interactive, user‑friendly dashboards that provide actionable insights and meet regional requirements.
- Assist clients in setting up data feeds and troubleshooting related issues, ensuring seamless integration with their systems.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to manage client and prospect requests, channel feedback, and improve products and processes to better meet customer requirements. Proactively work with the Sales team to develop client engagement initiatives and increase client retention.

What We’re Looking For BasicRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, economics, international trade or finance, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills with high numeracy and business analysis abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional phone presence.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
- Ability to learn quickly through self‑study and mentorship.
- Deliver business outcomes within defined deadlines.
- Enjoy working directly with decision makers and end users to apply insights.
- Think critically about unique needs and develop creative solutions.
- Take satisfaction in supporting business wins without a direct quota/commission structure.

- Master data analysis, public speaking, presentation development, objection handling, probing questions, and simplification of complex concepts.
- Some positions may require occasional domestic and/or regional international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior professional experience in similar positions is a strong preference.
- Bi‑lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience using time‑series econometric modeling software such as Aremos, Eviews, or Data Insight highly preferred and relevant.
