Part-Time Preschool Associate; Clinton Campus

The Part-Time Preschool Associate is charged with helping the Family Pastor and Kids Minister with weekly recruiting & scheduling of servant leaders, gathering and the dispersing of classroom curriculum and supplies for children from birth through kindergarten as a part of Sunday Morning Ministry Progaming.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
• Assists the Family Pastor and Kids Minister to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
• Basic personal responsibilities:
  • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.
  • Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
  • Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
  • Maintain active participation in community.
  • Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in executing the Sunday morning environment for preschoolers, servant leaders, and parents.
• Ensures servant leadership structure is running and sufficiently staffed.
• Develops continual recruiting strategies for servant leaders.
• Provides childcare opportunities for special events by recruiting servant leaders and planning activities.
• Updates Pinelake’s check-in system as needed for room changes and special events.
• Maintains an environment that welcomes all visitors to the preschool ministry and makes sure that appropriate follow up is made with first-time visitors alongside Kids Minister.
• Serves as a champion for Pinelake’s Our House Promise strategy.
• Ensures Preschool Ministry supplies and curriculum materials are stocked and ready for ministry use.
• Oversees the use and maintenance of all equipment used by the Preschool Ministry to ensure proper operation, safety of the operator and participants, and security of the equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises and coordinates work with servant-leaders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• College experience preferred; previous experience working with children.
