Homedica is currently hiring a reliable Certified Medical Assistant for Jackson, MS
. The Medical Assistant works directly with healthcare staff, assists with patient visits, and maintains patient records in the Electronic Medical Records system.

• Work directly with healthcare staff
• Maintain records in EMR system
• Travel to patients’ homes within a 40-50 mile radius
• Utilize company provided equipment to record vitals and list medications
• Schedule telehealth visits for patients on both personal patient devices and company provided equipment
• Perform various office duties as needed

• Medical Assistant Certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare practice or hospital
• Home Health experience preferred but not required
• Dependable, high level of professionalism
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions in a busy paced environment a MUST
• Good written and verbal communication skills
