Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II - Part Time Day Shift - Henry Ford Macomb Hospital

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II is responsible to assist in the performance of invasive testing and interventional procedures used in the detection and treatment of the heart and circulatory system within Cardiac Catheter, CTO and Structural Heart procedure rooms. They must also be proficient in the functions of Monitoring, Circulating and Scrubbing.

• Assist in the performance of invasive testing and interventional procedures in Cardiac Catheter, CTO and Structural Heart procedure rooms.
• Be proficient in Monitoring, Circulating and Scrubbing.

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Sciences program (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience).

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI). Valid BCLS certification; ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire date.

• Must live within 30 minutes of Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
• Must take 4 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Efficient in monitoring and scrubbing is preferred.
