We have an immediate opening for a PRN Occupational Therapist to support our Outpatient Therapy Department.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Incumbent will provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients. Preferred candidate has experience working with a wide range of patient injuries and age groups, who is always ready to learn new techniques to further patient care. They will be responsible for coordinating with any healthcare professionals that are also working with their patients.
The right candidate is a patient, compassionate professional who encourages and inspires their patients to work toward greater independence and recovery.
KNOWLEDGE/
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Must maintain a current Mississippi license to practice occupational therapy
- Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Mississippi Occupational Therapy Association is recommended
