HVAC Refrigerant Piping

Job Type: HVAC
Start Date: Tuesday, September 22nd / Wednesday, September 23rd
Duration: Through mid-to-end of November
Expected Hours: 50+ hours/week, 5–6 days/week; may include 7-day weeks, 10–12 hours/day

Required Skills:

• OSHA 10 required for all workers
• HVAC Installers must have refrigeration experience
• Skilled Workers must have experience soldering copper pipe for refrigeration systems
• Skilled Workers must be able to install hangers and hang HVAC equipment
• Workers without direct refrigeration experience may qualify with a Level 2 or Level 3 HVAC Training Certification
• Helpers or more experienced workers accepted for Helper positions

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC refrigerant piping
• Solder pipe for refrigeration systems
• Solder copper piping
• Install hangers
• Hang HVAC equipment
• Assist with general HVAC installation tasks
• Follow all project safety requirements and proper HVAC installation procedures

Experience:

• 3 Skilled Workers with HVAC refrigerant piping and refrigeration experience
• Experience soldering pipe for refrigeration systems
• Level 2 or Level 3 HVAC Training Certification may be accepted in place of direct refrigeration experience
• 2 Helpers with HVAC or construction experience preferred
