About the Job

Rapid Xchange is seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Customer Service Representative in our Clinton, NC location. If you are the ambitious, hard‑working type that enjoys meeting new people every day and the challenges of a rapidly growing company, then we would be excited to have you join our team!

The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in a fast‑paced customer service‑related position, advanced computer skills, and good organizational skills. Successful candidates will provide exceptional customer service while fielding customer inquiries and requests via phone and email. Other administrative responsibilities include accounts receivable, new account setup, invoicing, and helping maintain multiple software programs and portals specific to our company and customers.

The

ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Two‑year Associate's Degree is preferred but at minimum a High School Diploma.
  • Cargas Energy Systems software experience preferred.
  • Propane Industry experience is a plus!
  • Higher standards for excellence in a customer service environment.
  • Ability to resolve conflict in a professional and decisive manner.
  • Written and verbal communication skills for professional business interactions.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and apply general knowledge of the company, products and services.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and adhere to instructions, processes and procedures.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time‑management skills, including punctuality for on‑time attendance.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously when interacting with customers.
