School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Clinton, North Carolina

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license, or eligibility, for the state
• Prior experience in a school-based setting with elementary and/or middle school students is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other team members
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal writing
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, ensuring goals are educationally relevant and attainable
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create supportive learning plans and environments
• Maintain regular documentation of student progress, preparing necessary reports, and participating in IEP team meetings
• Offer guidance and support to teachers to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities
• Stay current on best practices and professional advancements within the field
