POSITION SUMMARY: The Upholstery Assembler position is responsible for putting the vinyl covers and or carpet on the production and warranty components and securing them in place.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Installs components onto sub-straights using various stretching, pulling and shaping techniques
- Completes work and inspects finished product for quality.
- Performs various manual assembly operations such as: trimming, hinge installation, and foam gluing.
- Identifies components for each task.
- Operates and performs daily cleaning and maintenance on various assembly machines such as: snap, hydem machine, screw guns, drills and staple guns.
- Identifies direction of nap of carpet.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability for rapid mental and muscular depth perception and distance
- Coordination simultaneously
- Quality minded

- Light lifting, under 20 lbs.
- Light carrying, under 20 lbs.
- Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.
