Overview
Sampson Regional Medical Center is currently seeking Registered Nursing students in their final semester of their senior year to become part of the Transition to Professional Practice (TOP RN) program.
The Transition to Professional Practice Pathway is Sampson Regional's Clinical Ladder program. Top 1 is the starting level, designed for nurses entering Sampson Regional in the continuum between their final senior semester and their first year of nursing. Upon graduation and successful completion of the NCLEX, the student would transition to Top RN 1. Top RN 1 is a 6-12 month program that includes both classroom learning and hands-on clinical experience at a progressive pace designed to make a successful transition to professional practice after year one.
Successful completion of the Top RN 1 level elevates participation to the Top RN 2 level.
- Senior Nursing Student enrolled in an accredited RN program in the final semester
- NC Licensed RN for one year or less
