Stand or sit (stationary position), walk, talk/hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, climb stairs/ladders, use hand/fingers to handle or feel, reach, see, repetitive motion, push or pull. Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
Responsibilities- The review of customer purchase orders, including various technical requirements.
- The review of supplier documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and other technical requirements.
- Review of material certifications and compare to associated specifications to verify compliance.
- Assembly of documentation packages to meet customer purchase order, specification, and various code requirements.
- Perform tasks and assignments per the direction of QA Management.
- Be able to read and comprehend in English and adhere to process and procedural requirements.
- Be able to work independently and with others.
- Possess strong time management skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have the ability to multi‑task and complete daily, weekly, monthly, and as‑needed assignments on time.
- Communicate with customers or suppliers to resolve issues.
- Be able and willing to ask questions when unsure.
- High School diploma / GED
- Proficiency with Adobe PDF, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Associate’s Degree or higher in a science field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with ASME Section II & III codes & standards and/or military specifications.
- Experience in a QA department with an understanding of document control, record control, and retention requirements.
- Experience in the nuclear industry, military supply, and/or steel applications such as supply of raw steel, piping, or fasteners.
- Familiar with Commercial Grade Dedication and material upgrade requirements.
- Audit experience (internal or external).
- NQA-1 experience.
