As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Clinton, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities and involves monitoring and patrolling designated government locations to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during the shift.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required by site protocols.
- Perform duties while armed, adhering to all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms.
- Participate in ongoing training and drills related to security-related procedures and emergency response.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
