Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and be a visible presence.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the designated location, including the perimeter and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents within the location.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
- Remain alert and aware of site-specific protocols, especially those relevant to armed security-related responsibilities in a government setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
