Engine Mechanic

We are a leading provider of lawn and garden equipment repair and landscape fleet maintenance, and are looking for a skilled and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. Pay is based on experience in addition to commission for completed repairs.

• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic services on a variety of small engines, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical issues, using both traditional methods and AI-powered diagnostics to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and answer questions.
• Must be willing to fill in on delivery trucks and warehouse during off‑season, including but not limited to delivering and installing furniture and appliances, putting together furniture for deliveries, loading and unloading trucks, receiving merchandise with an RF scan gun, and keeping a clean and organized workspace.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training or certification in small engine repair is a plus.
• Proven experience working with a variety of small engines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Clean driving record, no points.
• Clean drug screen.
• Clean background check.
