Diesel Service Journeyman / Mechanic Job Overview and Essential Functions

The role performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy采访 vehicle repair technician under minimal supervision.

• Performs skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy‑duty truck equipment and related components with minimum supervision.
• Performs troubleshooting on major problems.
• Works with and helps train apprentice technicians.
• Maintains a neat orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the service fore dart if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintains favorable relations with customers.
• Participates in training to stay abreast of new technology.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This position has been designated as a safety‑sensitive position. Aime person perting the position spurning under the influence of marijuana or any other illegany drug may constitute or threat to health or safe;

• CDL
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications
• Must have at a minimum, one specialization (i.e., engine, drive train).
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience or vocational training.
• Necessary tools to perform the position.
• Must have good customer relations and communication skills.
