SWIM INSTRUCTOR (SAMPSON COUNTY YMCA)
Position Summary:
The Y is a leading nonprofit for strengthening community, and the nation's largest provider of swim lessons to increase skill and safety in and around water. This position provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes.
Job Title:
SWIM INSTRUCTOR
$12.44 - $15.55/hr, depending on qualifications and experience. Wage may increase to $20+/hr for private lesson instruction once certified.

- Minimum age of 16.
- Certifications:
CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification. - YMCA Swim Instructor Certification, American Red Cross WSI or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
- Must demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
- Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper stroke techniques.
- Ability to lift equipment and to lift a small to average size child.
