Location:

Clinton, SC – part of Comprehensive Treatment Centers, a leader in medication‑assisted treatment.

Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). Seeking a Pharmacist to work on a per‑diem basis as needed.

• Monday‑Friday: 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (one day during the week)
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Our nursing team provides compassionate, high‑quality, safe, and efficient medication dispensing to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

The Pharmacist is responsible for the accountability of prescription medications to patients, maintenance of accurate records, and providing expertise in the safe use of prescription medications in an outpatient clinic setting.

• Fill prescriptions and verify instructions from physicians on proper medication amounts.
• Check for negative interactions with other drugs or medical conditions.
• Instruct patients on how and when to take medication and inform them about potential side effects.
• Advise patients on general health topics such as diet, exercise, stress management, and related supplies.
• Educate other healthcare practitioners on proper medication therapies.
• Complete insurance forms and liaise with insurance companies to ensure patients obtain necessary medicines.
• May oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and/or interns.
• Maintain required federal, state, local, or corporate records and perform related administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Preferred previous experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment.
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse for three years prior to employment.
• Familiarity with Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) and handling of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards).
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, counselors, case managers, and support staff.
• Understanding of clinical best practices in substance use treatment, trauma‑informed care, and harm reduction principles.

• Current Pharmacist License in the state of South Carolina.
