The ANP or PA will treat patients as part of the medically assisted recovery program. The provider will work with the Cedar Clinical Team to deliver a collaborative model of medical care in conjunction with counseling and therapy interventions.
ResponsibilitiesProvide initial medical diagnosis
Identify medical and health risks
Formulate appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing
Record and review medication management in accordance with state, agency, and third-party payer standards
Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations, interventions, plan of care, referrals, and follow-up
Remain current in best practices, motivate staff to provide quality care, and complete documentation in a timely fashion
Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies
Contribute to continuing education, expert blogs, and ongoing outreach marketing activities
MSN from accredited college/university
DEA License and DEA X-Waiver in good standing
Currently licensed by the Tennessee State Medical Licensure Board and such license is not restricted
No reportable items to the National Practitioner Data Bank within the last ten (10) years
Active Tenn Care Number
One year of experience in treatment of opioid or other substance use disorders
