Registered Nurse, RN Weekend OC (Adams Place)

Pay: $68,000 - $75,000 yearly, depending on experience.

The Weekend On Call Registered Nurse is normally scheduled to work on weekends and/or after hours on weekdays. The RN is responsible for nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders, and for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient.

• The Weekend On Call RN is scheduled to make patient visits each week. Phone issues may be resolved by phone, but many after‑hours or weekend calls will require a visit.
• The RN agrees to be available for work‑related phone calls throughout scheduled after‑hours and weekend work hours. Calls should be accepted by the RN unless the RN is assisting a patient or on a phone call with a patient/family.

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
• Experience in nursing required; experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• Must possess a sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and elements of patient and family teaching.
