Registered Nurse, RN Weekend On Call

Pay: $68,000 - $75,000 yearly, depending on experience.

Job Details: The Weekend On Call Registered Nurse is normally scheduled to work on weekends and/or “after hours” on weekdays. The On Call RN is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders and for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient.

• Scheduled to make patient visits each week; may resolve some issues by phone.
• Available for work‑related phone calls throughout scheduled “after hours” and/or weekend work hours. Accept calls promptly unless assisting a patient or on a phone call with a patient/family.

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
• Experience in nursing; preference for Hospice or Home Health.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient family teaching.
