• Provide customer service: Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.

• Respond to incidents: Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

• Conduct patrols: Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

• Monitor entrances: Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and protect property.

• Complete reports: Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.

• Collaborate: Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.

• Maintain firearms proficiency: Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms and adhere to all company and legal requirements for armed personnel.

• Remain alert: Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential security-related risks and respond appropriately.

• Experience: Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

• Age: Be at least 21 years of age.

• Driver’s license: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Armed guard card: An armed guard card or license is preferred.

• Weight: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

• High school diploma: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Background investigation: As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Criminal history: Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Drug screening: As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Training programs: Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements: Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
