Day In The Life Of A Day Program Direct Support Professional – Caregiver

As a caregiver you support people with developmental disabilities in daily living skills such as self‑care, hygiene, motor skills, arts and crafts, vocational skills, work habits, and community inclusion. You help with behavior management and recreational activities, model appropriate social skills, maintain accurate documentation, and report any health or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Licensed driver
• Ability to drive a large vehicle to transport individuals between community engagement and home
• A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities

We look for strong communication and interpersonal skills, discretion with confidential information, compassion while maintaining professional boundaries, calmness, flexibility, patience, and teamwork.

Schedule

30 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
