About the role:
A welcoming and forward‑thinking secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their team.
This long‑term opportunity is ideal for a passionate linguist who can inspire pupils to develop confidence in languages and broaden their cultural awareness.
Location: Clitheroe
Start date: September
Hours: Full-time
Role: MFL Teacher – Long-term Supply
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach French, Spanish, or German depending on specialism
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Promote language learning and cultural awareness
- Contribute to departmental planning and development
- Support enrichment opportunities and language clubs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge
- Two school‑based or education‑related references
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
