Chemistry Teacher (QTS Required) - Full-Time

Salary: MPS/UPS dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected mainstream secondary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire
, who are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join their Science department on a full-time basis from January 2027
.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Chemistry specialist who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.

The Role:
  • Full-time Chemistry Teacher position
  • Starting January 2027
  • Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
  • Contributing positively to a thriving Science department
  • Upholding high standards of behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate :
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Chemistry within a UK secondary school setting
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Is committed to raising attainment and inspiring learners
  • Has a proactive, positive and professional approach to teaching
  • Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
