OverviewLeggwork is partnering with a growing Geospatial Surveying specialist delivering high-accuracy survey solutions across commercial, residential, heritage and infrastructure projects throughout the North-West of England.
Due to continued project growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Measured Building Surveyor to support the delivery of detailed floor plans, elevations, sections and 3D survey outputs for architects, engineers, developers and construction professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically focused business working with the latest surveying technology on a varied portfolio of projects ranging from commercial developments and public sector buildings through to major infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out detailed Measured Building Surveys across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects
- Capture accurate site data using Total Stations, Laser Scanners and associated surveying equipment
- Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans and building layouts to client specifications
- Survey structural and architectural features including walls, columns, beams, openings and floor levels
- Collect and process survey data for CAD, BIM and 3D modelling outputs
- Identify and report site constraints, discrepancies and survey risks
- Liaise with clients, architects and project teams to ensure survey requirements are achieved
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality assurance and health & safety compliance
- Support the delivery of Revit, AutoCAD and point cloud survey outputs where required
- Proven experience delivering Measured Building Surveys
- Proficient using Total Stations, Laser Scanners and modern surveying equipment
- Strong understanding of floor plans, elevations, sections and building measurement techniques
- Experience processing survey data and producing accurate survey deliverables
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data workflows
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Full UK Driving Licence
- QCF, Pro Qual, HNC, HND or Degree in Surveying or related discipline
- Experience using Leica, Trimble or Faro survey equipment
- Knowledge of Revit, BIM modelling and point cloud processing
- Experience with in Construction, Property, Infrastructure or Utilities sectors
- £30,000 - £40,000 salary depending on experience
- Company van and fuel card
