Customer Service Consultant

About the Role

Hours:

36 hours per week (full-time). Salary £25,500 per annum.

Location:

Clitheroe and Barnoldswick Branches.

• Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming customers warmly both in branch and over the phone.
• Engage customers, ask insightful questions, uncover their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Listen and tailor solutions to meet customers’ unique circumstances.
• Proactively reach out to customers, identify their needs and discuss support.
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems, focusing on vulnerable customers.
• Adhere to policies, standards and controls; apply training and coaching.

• Prior experience interacting with customers, ideally in a bank, building society or contact centre environment.
• Experience may also come from retail, food & beverage, guest services or health/care sectors.
• Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond.
• Ability to work well with others, manage time, respond to busy periods and adapt to changing priorities.
• Desire and ability to grow, adapt and change while accommodating business needs.
