Axon Moore are partnering with a market-leading, high growth company based in Clitheroe who are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. As Accounts Assistant you will provide support and assist with the day-to-day financial activities, with the chance to progress and increase responsibilities within the role.

Key

Responsibilities and Duties:

Timely and accurate completion of payments
Accurate entry of payments on accounting system
Bank reconciliations
Completion of supplier statement reconciliations
Accruals and prepayments
Assist Finance Team with month and year end process
Liaise with Senior Managers in company for authorisation of payments
Liaise with external suppliers on invoice and payment queries
Ad hoc duties
Required

Skills and Experience:

At least 1/2 years working in a similar role.
Preferably studying for AAT/ACCA/CIMA
Confident speaking to managers and external suppliers
Conscientious and an eye for detail
A willingness to learn and improve
An ability to work under pressure
